The scientific programme consists of 14 half-day oral sessions (two parallel sessions over 3 ½ days), as well as two major poster sessions and daily plenary lectures given by Dr Steve D McCormick, USA, Dr Sylvie Dufour, France and Dr Penny Swanson, USA. The RE Peter Lecture will be given by Dr Carl B Schreck, USA, and the Y Nagahama Lecture by Dr Suraj Unniappan, Canada.
The optional, half-day excursion will take you by sightseeing boat through the Swedish archipelago along the coast from Gothenburg to the historic seaside village of Marstrand where you can explore the water-front, the village, the various shops and watering holes as well as the impressive old fortification, before returning to Gothenburg by bus.
The 8ISFE registration is now open. Following your registration, please upload the abstract submission form, fill in and return by e-mail as instructed. Here, you can also indicate your need to obtain a letter of invitation for visa application purposes.
The International Society on Fish Endocrinology (ISFE) may offer some support to selected PhD students and postdocs.
The conference will be held at Lindholmen Conference Centre in the heart of Gothenburg, with a range of hotel and hostel options nearby.
